There is just one week left for tax credits customers to notify HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) of changes to their circumstances or income before the 31 July 2020 deadline.
HMRC’s Making Tax Digital programme will be gradually extended, as part of the Treasury’s long-term tax digitisation plan.

HRMC is reminding tax payers that those who are struggling to pay their second 2019/20 Self Assessment payment, due to the Coronavirus outbreak, can defer the payment until the 31st January 2021.
Tax credit customers need to ensure they tell HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) of any changes in circumstances or income by 31st July.
If you are due to make an income tax payment on 31st July 2020 then you have the option to defer this payment until the 31st January 2021.
