From today, 24th July 2020, the wearing of face masks is compulsory within retail premises in England.
Following a previous decision by the Scottish government which ruled that face masks must be worn within stores, independent retailers are reminded that from tomorrow (Friday July 24th) customers in England will also be required to wear face coverings when inside retail premises.
Following the decision by the Scottish and English governments to make the wearing of face masks compulsory within stores, the NFRN has created guidance for members, so they better understand the new legislation and can communicate the new policy with customers.
