The National Lottery has revealed a set of new TV ads, with one of Teddington’s best loved local shops playing a starring role.

The new ads feature the real-life dreams of what Lotto players would do with their winnings, and the special someone with whom they’d share their prize.

All the ads are filmed inside and outside of genuine National Lottery retailers’ stores – including Bharat Mehta’s shop, Dowsetts Newsagents, in south-west London.

Owner Bharat, an NFRN member, said he was delighted to have the crew in-store to shoot the new ads:

“We had an amazing time having The National Lottery team in filming for the new advertisements. There was lots of excitement and buzz with our customers, so we’re delighted to see our shop in the adverts being shown now on TV!”
