Following parliament’s decision to rise on Wednesday for the Easter recess the long anticipated government’s response to the Call for Evidence on retail crime has been delayed.  It was expected at the end of this month.

NFRN National President Stuart Reddish said:

“We are obviously disappointed that the government’s response to the call for evidence on violence against retailers will not now be published before the House rises for its Easter break. Independent retailers need the government to act to protect them in their stores and we hope that a statement will be made as soon as the House returns.”
