On Thursday 28 November, Reach (previously Trinity Mirror) national titles and daily regional titles will feature a fantastic offer for readers to claim a £10 saving when they spend £40 in Iceland stores .They will be able to redeem this saving through a coupon which will be repeated on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Reach will be driving awareness of this great pre-Christmas saving through in-paper adverts and blurbs, via their social media audience and good old fashioned posters around regional towns and cities. To cater for this considerable extra demand, Reach will be boxing out between 3% and 5% across their national and regional portfolio.

Iceland ran a similar offer in September across their publications. On that occasion the offer involved a £5 saving when consumers bought one of their publications and spent £20 in store. The sales uplift which Reach experienced in September was around 7,000 copies across its national titles and 6,000 on its regional dailies. This time it is confident that the sales benefit will be even greater with readers gearing up to their Christmas festivities.

Retailers requiring additional copy should  e-mail their requirement and address details to andrew.crosthwaite@reachplc.com

Please note this offer may not be ideal for all retailers as it may drive custom for Grocery and Frozen lines to Iceland. However, this offer will increase newspaper sales and would therefore be ideal for newsagents or community retailers who are not competing directly with the larger multiples. It is up to the retailer to decide whether you support this offer.
