Following the success of our exclusive joint Euro Shopper promotion with Booker which ran during the last quarter of 2019, the NFRN has again teamed up with the cash and carry wholesaler for a new exciting initiative – and this one is our biggest yet!
Inside the March edition of The Fed, which is arriving in members’ stores this week, is a sheet of vouchers which members can redeem in Booker and Makro branches nationwide for a range of Happy Shopper confectionery, buy one case and get another case free!
This hugely exciting promotion is exclusive to NFRN members. The vouchers are valid for collection only and can be redeemed up until May 31, 2020.
Announcing the scheme, National President Stuart Reddish said: “We are really excited to be working again with Booker on a scheme that will both save and make our members money.
“This is the single biggest giveaway that the NFRN and Booker have ever done and it is exclusive for NFRN members.
“Putting more money in members’ tills is one of my key priorities and having previously run a hugely successful voucher campaign with Booker on key Euro Shopper lines earlier in the year, I am now thrilled that we are, once again, joining forces for another fantastic and exclusive promotion which is even more valuable to our independent retail members.
“Thousands of you took full advantage of the Euro Shopper buy one, get one free offer, and this time round I would urge every member to grasp the opportunities from this latest excellent promotional opportunity and make sure you visit your local Booker or Makro branch to benefit your business.”
Booker managing director – retail Colm Johnson said: “The Happy Shopper range drives footfall, sales and profits for retailer and gives shoppers fantastic value, with excellent quality.
“We are delighted to be working with the NFRN to offer members exclusive deals which will add considerably to their bottom line. This is part of our commitment to help retailers grow through improving choice, quality, price and service.”
Twenty four Happy Shopper confectionery products are participating in the promotion, with each line offering retailers a minimum 30 per cent profit on return on single price marked packs. The products include Fizzy Tropical Fruit Slices, Jelly Babies, Fruit Pastilles, Chocolate Peanuts, Mint Assortment, Toffee Assortment and White Chocolate Buttons.
The Happy Shopper confectionery range was recently relaunched with new flavours and packaging to deliver even more cash profit for retailers.
