Nigel Railton, CEO of National Lottery operator Camelot, presents Liverpool retailer Margaret Baron with a plaque to celebrate her store’s National Lottery players – who have raised more than £620,000 for Good Causes.

Margaret, owner of Barons News, said she felt a real sense of achievement and was proud that her customers had been able to raise such a significant sum for Good Causes over the years. The store celebrated a decade as a National Lottery retail partner in January this year.

Each week, National Lottery players raise around £30 million for Good Causes. Over £39 billion has now been raised and more than 535,000 individual grants have been made across the UK – that’s around 190 projects in every UK postcode district.
