Besides raising the cover prices of both the Guardian and its sister paper, the Observer, and maintaining the retail margin to ensure that stockists fully benefit from the increases that take effect from this weekend (January 12), the publisher has unveiled details of a new subscription offer.
Running until February 28th this new scheme enables NFRN members to offer their Guardian customers a substantial 30% saving on the titles via a subscription package. This enhanced discount is available to a limited number of retailers only.
This is an ideal way to actively approach your existing Guardian customers and lock them into future sales. It is a win win all round.

Subscriptions are a proven way of locking in customers for a set period of time. In this instance your customer will be asked to take a minimum 3 month subscription.
