The Daily Mail launches The Great Plastic Pick Up – in partnership with environmental charity, Keep Britain Tidy.

The partnership marks the next phase of the Daily Mail’s decade-long war on plastic waste, a widely-praised series of campaigns which started with the Mail’s successful drive to ‘banish the bags’. The Daily Mail Great Plastic Pick Up will encourage readers to take part in a countrywide series of local community clean ups, coordinated by Keep Britain Tidy and local authorities, during the weekend of 11th to 13th May. Communities are encouraged to share photographs of their day for the chance to win one of three prizes of a professional community make-over, worth £10,000. A participating school will also win a fantastic prize of an all-expenses-paid trip to a UK Sea Life Centre accompanied by a celebrity environmentalist for the day.

Posters have been sent to all members via your newspaper wholesaler and you are encouraged to display these in stores to help raise awareness of this fantastic campaign. If you require extras to display please download them and print off via the link below.
