Due to the current situation, Booker have made some changes to ensure the health and safety of colleagues and customers:

“To try and ease the flow of people, customers who operate a retail or catering business will be the only customer groups that have access to our branches from opening until 11am. Small business users will then have access to our branches after 11am.

Due to the nature of our shopping environment and the number of customers we are experiencing, children under 16 will no longer be allowed into the branch and we ask that only two people shop per customer card – one of which must be the named card holder of the account.

When our customers are shopping in our branches, we are asking them to be mindful of the latest advice on ‘social distancing’. We are asking that customers try to stay a trolley length apart from each other

We are restricting quantities on some lines such as bread, milk, anti-bacterial products, paper, dried pasta and some cleaning products because of increased demand

These changes are to allow all of our customers access to our branches in the most responsible way. We understand this is a very challenging time for them to operate a business and hope this will help with availability and access to essential products.

So, if customers could help us by limiting demand of essential items and allowing us to focus on the core needs of you, our customer – we are confident that we can continue to help you run a sustainable and profitable business. We are delivering products daily to our branches, but this is a very challenging time and we will only get through this if we are understanding and work together.

I hope you can see that these changes are to keep everyone safe and well during these very challenging circumstances. We would like to thank you for your continued support and understanding.”
